Vision Update

I have had so many people ask about my eyes lately and ask why I wasn't blogging any more so I thought I would flip out a post to catch everyone up!  May 23rd, I went on a medical leave from McLeod.  I had been tracking my eye hemorrhages for a couple of months and found they were occurring mostly at work and during high stress periods at home - (WHAT?  you have a project due TOMORROW???)  Well anyway, my medical doctor put me out of work the week before the boys got out of school and a miracle happened!  I have only had ONE hemorrhage since I went on leave and that was the very last day of school when the boys had final exams, I had the end of the year parties, etc.. etc...  So essentially, I have been hemorrhage free for three weeks and it has allowed my body to reabsorb some of the blood that was clouding my vision and I am beginning to get some vision back in my left eye.  I still can not see centrally, but I have started to be able to see peripherally.  For the first time in my life, I am taking it very easy and just relaxing! It is a weird concept for me but, HEY!  I think I could get use to it!  I'm not running up and down the roads - I have seen less of the beach this year than ever and that is about to kill me...  but, I have had so much time to spend with God, asking for healing and also yielding to his will for my life and for my vision.  Please continue to keep me in your prayers.  Mentally, I am doing much better.  Some of you know, and some of you may not, but just before I went on leave from work, I had a mental meltdown!  I had an anxiety attack to end all attacks!  NOT SUICIDAL - just so there are not rumors flying anywhere - just one of those days that you just feel like walking away and taking a break for an unspecified time period!  Anyway, I am seeing a LITTLE better and doing much better mentally.  Thanks for all of your prayers and concerns!  My next appointment with my retinal specialist is July3rd.
