Well, in all of the craziness that has been my life lately, I forgot to blog about a special event for our family. My dad turned 65 on January 21st! I feel very blessed to have my father. In 2004, he suffered a massive heart attack. He collapsed the vessel in his heart that health care providers have nicknamed "the widow-maker". Most patient's simply do not survive the heart attack he suffered. He was out of town, working in Columbia when my mom received the call that he had been rushed to the ER. Did you know that Columbia was moved that day to the other side of EGPYT? He bounced back and hasn't missed a beat! He still works full time as an auctioneer and is a full-time granddaddy. It is his mother that has been so sick since Christmas and I can tell that he has been tired recently. Please remember him as you pray for my grandmother! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!
